this blog needs some serious updating.
i had a friend over last week for a night of chick flicks 'n appetizers. I prepared some veggie 'n dip (artichoke), cream puffs, swedish meatballs and garlic bread

and last night's dinner. pork stir with hoisin sauce, rice and some green leafy stuff.

i come from a family that is big on food therapy. whenever i got sick, my parents didn't give me over the counter medication. instead, they relied on certain food, berries, herbs, etc to balance out the "yin" and "yang" energy in my body. When i had stomach problems, my mom brewed me a cup of sliced ginger. Melon soups for when I had a fever. Beef stew for the days I was tired from lacking sleep.
here's a herbal soup i made today.
 dried honey dates, lotus seeds, astralagus, ginseng,i don't know the names for the rest of the ingredients

teriyaki lemon salmon: 2 chopped green onions 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of teriyaki sauce
poured it on top of the salmon. put it in the oven at 450 degrees Celcius for 10 minutes.

 I picked up a basket sweet 'n juicy campari tomatoes earlier this week at the local farmer's market. I've cooked tomato dishes every single day this week because they're very ripe. It'll only be a few more days before they turn into mush.
For lunch, I made..
Fusili pasta with light mayo dressing and this.
